About Kaizen

Hi,

My name is Nathan, and from the moment I saw my first Honda NSX, I was done for.

I grew up obsessed with cars.

Not just driving them — making them mine.

Wheels were always the first thing I noticed.
The stance.
The width.
The way a car sat once it was done properly.

And that’s where the frustration started.

Even back then, it was strangely hard to buy exceptional staggered wheels without compromise.
You either paid eye-watering prices, accepted generic fitments, or spent weeks trying to decipher specs that felt deliberately confusing.

Fast forward a couple of decades — and honestly, not much has changed.

The problem that never went away

Despite all the progress in manufacturing, logistics, and eCommerce, buying high-quality staggered wheels is still harder than it should be.

  • Pricing often makes no sense

  • Fitment feels opaque unless you’re already an expert

  • Quality is wildly inconsistent

  • And “custom” usually isn’t very custom at all

After 20 years in eCommerce across other industries, I realised something:

I already had the tools, contacts, and experience to fix a problem I’d been annoyed by my entire life.

So I stopped complaining — and started building.

Why Kaizen exists

Kaizen was created to make proper wheel buying feel straightforward.

Not dumbed down.
Not watered down.
Just clear, honest, and intentional.

You choose the design.
You choose the specs that actually matter.
We build them properly — front and rear, exactly as they should be.

No guessing.
No compromises.
No pretending one-size-fits-all works for everyone.

What “Kaizen” means to us

Kaizen is a Japanese philosophy centred on continuous improvement.

That’s not just a name — it’s the standard.

We refine designs.
We improve processes.
We question pricing.
And we keep pushing toward doing this better than it’s been done before.

Not louder.
Not flashier.
Just better.

Built by someone who actually cares

Kaizen isn’t a trend project or a quick brand play.

It’s the result of:

  • A lifelong passion for cars

  • Years of frustration with the wheel industry

  • And two decades of learning how to build things properly online

If you’re here, chances are you care about the details too.

That’s exactly who Kaizen is for.

If Kaizen can help solve a fitment, finish or wheel design problem for your build, reach out. We genuinely want to help you get it right.

Kind regards,

Nathan Hartnett
